Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor, who was hospitalised in Mumbai due to a severe case of food poisoning, has been discharged from the hospital, media reports said.

Sharing her health update, Janhvi Kapoor's dad and producer Boney Kapoor told Zoom: "She was discharged this morning. She is much better now.”

According to a report by Times Now, Janhvi Kapoor has been receiving support from her loved ones, including her father, sister Khushi Kapoor, and rumoured boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya.

Jhanvi returned from Chennai to Mumbai last Tuesday. The next day, the actor decided to cancel all her appointments and stay home as she was not feeling well. On Thursday, her condition worsened, requiring immediate hospitalisation, according to indianexpress.com.

The Dhadak actress has had a hectic schedule recently, as she attended various events during Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s grand wedding.

She is currently busy with promotional activities for her upcoming film 'Ulajh'. In the film, she plays Suhana Bhatia, the youngest Deputy High Commissioner entangled in a conspiracy during a crucial assignment at the London embassy.

She is also making her Telugu debut Devara Part 1 alongside Jr NTR, for which she has been shooting since May.
