Siddharth Anand’s next big budgeted actioner to be led by two actors, shoot to commence in 2025, claims report
Director Siddharth Anand has a knack for crafting action spectacles, and his films such as War, Pathaan and recently released Fighter are proof.
Known for hitting bullseye at the box office, Siddharth is now making headlines for his upcoming project, which is rumoured to be yet another big-budgeted actioner, which will mark his ninth directorial film.
According to a source, Anand has finalized the script after thorough research work and is gearing up to commence the filming in 2025. The mega-budget film will reportedly star two action heroes, and the news has sure left the audiences curious and excited.
Report claims that the filmmaker is aiming to bring together two of Indian cinema's biggest superstars.
"It’s a new genre of action, and the execution for spectacle will surprise the cinema-going audience. It’s the newness of the genre that took him time to research and complete the script," the source was quoted.
Anand is also rumoured to be producing King featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan.
Anand's project line-up doesn't end with King, Jewel Thief, and a few other films in the pipeline. He is said to be developing a female-led action film, which is now in the casting stage. Rumours suggest that Anand might also be working on the sequels of ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Fighter’, and there is a possibility that the filmmaker might kickstart ‘Tiger V/S Pathan’ film soon.
Given this impressive line-up, it’s clear that Anand is poised to continue his streak of action-packed blockbusters. The Pathaan Director, along with Producer Mamta Anand have put together a slate of 7 films for their banner, Marflix Pictures, which are reportedly in various stages of production.
