Sanya Malhotra-starrer 'Mrs', which is receiving critical acclaim at several international film festivals, is yet to hit the theatres in India, but it is leaving no stone unturned to grab headlines.

After making waves at the New York Indian Film Festival (NYIFF), the film is now heading towards its premiere at the 2024 edition of Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM).

In a recent social media post, Sanya expressed her excitement for the premiere. "I can't wait for you guys to watch this. See you guys on August 22," she captioned the post.

The actress also shared a video expressing her excitement.

'Mrs' is a remake of a Malayalam film 'The Great Indian Kitchen', which received immense critical acclaim post its release.

Earlier this year, Sanya Malhotra received the 'Best Actress' award at the New York Indian Film Festival for her performance in the Arati Kadav directorial, which sees the actress portray the life of a married woman and how she discovers herself against the expectations that are imposed by the society.

Beyond ‘Mrs’, Sanya Malhotra is gearing up for an interesting line-up of upcoming releases.

The actress will be seen in ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ and ‘Thug Life’. She also has an untitled film with Anurag Kashyap in the pipeline, which will see her sharing the screen space with Bobby Deol.
