Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood's new heartthrob Triptii Dimri faced a massive backlash after she skipped an event in Jaipur after receiving a payment of Rs. 5 lakhs, media reports said.

Triptii was in Jaipur to promote her upcoming film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. The 'Animal' actress was about to attend an event organised by FICCI FLO.

As per reports, she was paid Rs. 5.5 lakhs for the event. However, Triptii did not attend the event.

Following this, organisers went furious over Triptii's non-attendance with some women even giving a call to boycott the actress and her films.

In one video, Jaipur women blackened Triptii's posters. One of the protesters said, "Pura muh kaala karo... (blacken her entire face)."

Triptii's Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video co-starring Rajkummar Rao will release on October 11.

The actress, who caught the limelight with a short role in Animal, was last seen in Bad Newz, which featured Vicky Kaushal in the co-lead.

Apart from Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Triptii will also feature in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Dhadak 2 soon.
