Mumbai/IBNS: The shooting for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War has been delayed by two months, media reports said.

The shooting has been impacted by the Mumbai rains, a report by Bollywood Hungama said. The set construction was delayed due to rains, the report claimed.

The film is now expected to begin in December. It was previously scheduled to go on floors in October 2024.

Love & War, which also features Vicky Kaushal in the lead, was announced by the makers a few months ago.

The delay has facilitated Bhansali to concentrate more on the script and music of the film, which will mark the onscreen reunion of Ranbir and Alia, who are a married couple in reality.

Ranbir and Alia had earlier featured in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. Vicky and Alia were paired with each other in Meghna Gulzar's Raazi.

Ranbir made his Bollywood debut way back in 2007 with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya.

Alia's first and only film with Bhansali has been Gangubai Kathiawadi, a 2022 film which earned the A-lister actress the National Award.
