I knew there was so much for me to explore in this role: Bhuvan Arora on what compelled him to join Amazon MX Player’s Fisaddi
Mumbai/IBNS: Amazon MX Player, Amazon’s free video streaming service, recently released the brotherhood drama, Fisaddi.
The coming-of-age series revolves around the journey of two brothers, Goldie and Vimal, as they navigate through insecurities, inner conflicts, and personal struggles.
Once a 'local legend' of his hostel, Goldie, gets insecure when his younger brother, Vimal, joins the same college and begins outshining him, putting their brotherhood to the test.
Fisaddi delves into the intricacies of the unique sibling bond, featuring a talented cast including Bhuvan Arora, Poojan Chhabra, Gopal Datt, Rajesh Jais, and Priyal Mahajan in pivotal roles.
Bhuvan Arora, who essays the role of Goldie in the series, reveals what made him join the series.
He shares, "I immediately said yes to the script because I’ve always been a big fan of the story our show is based on – Bade Bhai Sahab by Munshi Premchand. When I read the script, I found it beautifully written, and I knew there was so much for me to explore in this role.
"Plus, I felt a deep connection to Goldie’s relationship with his younger brother, Vimal. It’s a bond I could personally relate to, and I knew I had to be a part of this heartfelt story."
Bhuvan further delves into the similarities between him and his character, noting, "I really enjoyed playing Goldie a lot because, just like him, I deeply value my family. Relationships mean everything to me, and I always put them first.
"I also share a similar love-hate dynamic with my sister, much like how Goldie does with Vimal, so I could truly relate to the character on a personal level. It felt natural to step into his shoes."
Fisaddi is now available to stream for free on Amazon’s video platform, through mobile apps, the Amazon shopping app, Prime Video, Fire TV, and connected TVs.
