Subhash Ghai announces Akshay-Priyanka Chopra-Kareena Kapoor's Aitraaz will now have a sequel

Twenty years after the movie hit the silver screen, filmmaker Subhash Ghai has announced a sequel of Aitraaz is on the cards.

Producer Subhash Ghai shared the update and wrote on Instagram: "BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL. PRIYANKA CHOPRA. DARED N DID IT. That’s why cine lovers can not forget her performance even after 20 years today in #AITRAZ - produced my Mukta arts."

Praising Priyanka Chopra for her performance in the movie, he said, "When she was too apprehensive to do this role of an ardent ambitious woman but did it with full confidence."

He further said: "Now MUKTA ARTS is ready for AITRAZ 2 🤗 with a finest script with 3 years of hard work 📕 Just wait n watch."

Aitraaz is a 2004 Indian Hindi-language romantic thriller film directed by Abbas–Mustan and produced by Subhash Ghai.

It stars Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor.
