Deepika requests for earrings from Piku as memento

Mumbai, June 26 (IBNS): Actress Deepika Padukone made a special request to the Piku team.
The ace actor essayed the role of a Bengali in Piku. Deepika’s dressing in the film was casual and very real. However for one of the scenes she was seen adorning earrings.

Deepika really liked those earrings. She also particularly likes the way Shoojit shot the scene and feels it exudes to the narrative of the film.

She made a special request as she was keen to keep those earrings as memento from the film.

The actress has never done this before even though she has had a slew of hits where audiences loved her characters.

However this character has left an impression on her as a person and taught her so much about human relations.

It has left her extremely emotional.

This scene has resonated with her audience the most and all her fans talk about this scene. She wanted to keep a piece of memory from the scene 

So she made this request, to keep a memento from the good memories.

Piku is a very special film for Deepika. She tested waters with this film and even though it is a small film it has done very well at the box office. Deepika has been basking in praises coming her way for the film.

She wants to keep something from the film with her at all times and so has requested for the earrings.

Deepika Padukone shares, "Piku has been an extremely special film for me so I wanted to keep something that will remind me of the film even years later."
