Mumbai, Aug 1 (IBNS): The first look of 'Meeruthiya Gangsters' was recently launched, and Director Zeishan Quadri is very excited about the upcoming film.

The movie marks his directorial debut and he is keenly looking forward to the response.

‘Meeruthiya Gangsters’ is a quirky crime drama, based on a real life incident about six youths from Meerut and their journey in the mischievous world of crime.

Director Zeishan Quadri said, "I'm really keen to see the response to the teaser of the film. I feel privileged to be associated with Shoeb Ahmed and Prateek Entertainment, who have backed me tremendously. Taking this new turn of my life into direction was not easy, but I've always relished facing challenges in life."

The poster has created buzz in the industry with its uniqueness and interesting tagline - Hero Bhi, Villain Bhi.

Speaking about the film, producer Shoeb Ahmed said, "We're confident that the film will strike a chord with the audience, especially the youth of the country."

Written and directed by Zeishan Quadri, the film stars Aakash Dahiya, Bijendra Kala, Chandrachoor Rai, Ishita Sharma, Jaideep Ahlawat, Jatin Sarna, Nushrat Bharucha and Shadab Kamal.

Presented by Prateek Group & Anurag Kashyap, the film is produced A Prateek Entertainment and Friday to Friday Media & Entertainers Production. ‘Meeruthiya Gangsters’ is set to release on Sept 18.
