Mumbai, Sept 14 (IBNS): Ranveer Singh has an unexpected new inspiration in his life. The warrior hero of 'Bajirao Mastani' has found new inspiration in a senior friend, an uncle in his gym.
After he had injured his shoulder on the sets of the forthcoming magnum opus, Ranveer was quite beat up. It was a challenging process, of building up muscle strength and therapeutic work on his shoulder was like starting from scratch.

The process had stressed him out initially, but Ranveer found a pleasant surprise in an 80 year old man who sweats it out in his gym.

This gentleman begins training early in the morning everyday, and does both cardiovascular training as well as weight lifting diligently. He spends long hours completing his gym training, and to the energetic star, his gym friend’s diligence had become motivating.

Says a source, “Ranveer and his gym uncle have actually become good friends! His children live in the USA, and are big fans of the actor. Ranveer has generously shot videos with their fit father and sent them across to them. And his US based fans are simply thrilled to see that their dad is a friend of their favourite actor!”

Ranveer Singh has spent hours training and carrying out therapy on his shoulder to get back in shape for ‘Bajirao Mastani’. Currently he is back to shooting physically intensive scenes.
