Kareena Kapoor turns a year older, celebrates her 35th birthday
Born in 1980 in Mumbai, Kareena is the younger of the two daughters of Babita and Randhir Kapoor. She hails from the famous ‘Kapoor Family’ of Bollywood and is a fourth-generation actor. Her sister Karishma Kapoor is also a successful Bollywood actress besides other members of the illustrious Kapoor clan.
Bebo, as she is fondly called, made her debut in the year 2000 opposite Abishek Bachchan in the film Refugee. She soon found her ground in the mega movie industry and movies like Asoka, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham…, Chameli, Omkara, Jab We Met followed.
Kareena is one the highest paid actresses in India, and has won six Filmfare awards in various categories.
Her latest release, Bajrangi Bhaijaan received both critical and commercial success in India and overseas and raked up a mammoth sum to go down as one of the top grosser in Bollywood.
Over the years, she has garnered a reputation of being a versatile actress and is admired for her groovy moves.
