Lakme Brand Ambassador now M.A.D. lead

Mumbai, July 2 (IBNS) Beauty products brand Lakme brand ambassador Amrit Maghera has now got the lead role in the upcoming Bollywood film 'Mad About Dance'.

Amrit, who was tagged ‘One of the most promising new-comer actresses this year’ by Harpers Bazaar is a professional model turned actress of Indian, English and Scottish origin is now playing a lead role  for the first time.

She signed a five year contract with Lakme after being scouted on the sets of a film in Mumbai, while working as a back-ground dancer.

Amrit was then seen in a Chivas ad with Arjun Rampal.

Not only is Amrit an actress and model, but also a professional singer and dancer. She has danced for the likes of Guns n Roses and Kanye West and has sung the lead vocals and dancedin M.A.D- an out and out dance film. It is written and directed by SaahilPrem, who Amritplays opposite as the lead couple.
