Mumbai, Feb 12 (IBNS) Producer Atul Kasbekar is hoping to showcase his film Neerja, which is based on the life of Neerja Bhanot, at the Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, California, USA from where he graduated in 1988.

When contacted, Atul says, “Brooks Institute formed the foundation of my photographic education, and shaped my career. I owe my success to the instructions received there. It would be a very big moment for me.”

Neerja is  a film based on the heroic story of Neerja Bhanot who sacrificed her life while saving passengers from terrorists on board the hijacked Pan Am Flight 73 on September 5, 1986.

Directed by Ram Madhvani and produced by Fox Star Studio's and Bling Unplugged, the film is all set to release on February 19.
