Gandhinagar, Feb 16 (IBNS) As right-wing protests are growing against actor Shah Rukh Khan, with already two such incidents taking place over a fortnight, Gujarat police have decided to double the layer of security for the actor, according to reports.

Shah Rukh is currently in the state shooting for his upcoming movie 'Raees'.

TOI reported that as many as 150 personnel were deployed by the state police while the actor was shooting a sequence on Monday. The team had a DSP, two inspectors and 10 SI.

Shivanand Jha, city police commissioner was quoted as saying by TOI, "Security of the actor and the film crew has been reviewed and police deployment has been increased for the future instances as well."

Ever since his controversial statement on his birthday about existing intolerance in the country, Shah Rukh Khan has fallen out of favour with the right wing activists.
