Shraddha Kapoor conducts Saraswati Pooja at home

Mumbai, Feb 16 (IBNS): Actress Shraddha Kapoor has welcomed the spring season by conducting a Saraswati Pooja at her residence.

On the day of Vasant Panchami, which is regarded as the birthday of Goddess Saraswati, the young actress celebrated the festival by worshiping the Goddess of music.

Shraddha, who belongs to a musical background with her Late grandfather Pandharinath Kolhapure, being a renowned name in the world of music and her mother Shivangi Kolhapure holding a passion for the art, the young actress inherits her singing talent from her legacy.

The actress also has names like Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle belonging to the same family tree.

The actress who is very spiritual and believes in celebrating festivals amidst her family held a pooja in the presence of her family members.

Shraddha has currently been winning kudos for her singing talents which the actress showcased in Ek Villain and ABCD 2. Shraddha also plans to lend her voice for her upcoming films too.

Shraddha confirms the news and shares, "Worshipping Goddess Saraswati is something that is an engrained belief in my family since music has always been such an important part of our lives. Like last year, this year too, I followed the rituals."

Shraddha will next be seen opposite Tiger Shroff in Baaghi - Rebels in Love. The film is all set to release on Apr 29.
