Sonam Kapoor's Neerja mints over Rs. 22 crore in opening weekend
Mumbai, Feb 22 (IBNS): Touching hearts, actress Sonam Kapoor's latest released film 'Neerja' has collected more then 22 crore in its opening weekend.
Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: "#Neerja goes from strength to strength. Fri 4.70 cr, Sat 7.60 cr, Sun 9.71 cr. Total: ₹ 22.01 cr. India biz. FAB! #ContentIsKing."
Neerja is a biopic on Neerja Bhanot who sacrificed her life while saving passengers on board a hijacked PanAm flight 73.
Neerja is directed by Ram Madhvani, produced by Fox Star Studios and Bling Unplugged.
