M.S. Dhoni's biopic earns 60 crores much before the release of the film
The makers have spent 80 crores on production of the film and way before the release of the movie, it has recovered 60 crores, by earning 45 crores for it's satellites rights and 15 crores from all brands that have been involved on the film.
The movie has created a huge buzz among brands who are extremely keen to tie up on the project. Apart from 15 crores the brands associated with the film will be spending more on advertising and promotions as well.
From the very title of the film one can figure that the much awaited movie M.S Dhoni : The Untold Story, is going to reveal unknown facts of the ace skipper.
A cricket film of this scale of a living cricket legend has never been attempted before.
Being a biopic based on the cricket sensation, the makers were keen to reveal unknown facts about him.
They wanted to make the movie as realistic hence, they have shot at real locations which have strong relevance in Dhoni's life.
Director, Neeraj Pandey, has traced Dhoni's life by shooting at locations associated with Dhoni, like his house in Ranchi, in his school, at Kharagpur station where Dhoni was stationed as the TT.
