Vidya Balan breaks down on the sets of Kahaani 2

Mumbai, Nov 23 (IBNS): Actress Vidya Balan may have this cool and chirpy exterior but she is also one to show her emotional side. One such instance took place on the sets of Kahaani 2.

The actress broke down while shooting a very emotional sequence with child artiste Naisha Khanna. As can be seen in the trailer, Naisha is seen jumping off the terrace of a building.

Though safety measures were undertaken and the scene was shot with complete precision, Vidya could not contain herself.

"Naisha is such a strong and brave girl. I was surprised to see the ease with which she executed the stunt. It gave me knots in the stomach and I started crying. Naisha, on the other hand, smiled at me as if nothing happened”, said Vidya.

Writer-director Sujoy Ghosh added, "Vidya is a big prankster on the sets, always on the lookout for her next target. So, when we saw her crying, we took it to be one of her pranks. After sometime, however, we realised that she was not faking it. It took me at least two hours to pacify her."
