Varun doesnot want to leave the character he plays in Badrinath Ki Dulhania

Mumbai, Dec 11 (IBNS): Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan on Sunday said he does not want to come out of the character he is playing in the film Badrinath Ki Dulhania.

He will be seen playing the character of Badree in the movie.

"I usually want to leave my character and move ahead but with badree I don't want to I want to keep him with me.#badrinathkidhulania," he tweeted.

He has completed shooting of the movie.

"Finished shooting for #badrinathkidhulania. Im so grateful that I got to work with the most wonderful crew and reunite so many old friends," he said.

Her co-star Alia Bhatt said she also could not think that the shooting for the movie is over.

"I can't believe #badrinathkidhulania is over already!!!!! It feels like we started shooting just yesterday! Guess cause it's like family!!," the Dear Zindagi star tweeted.

Varun and Alia were last seen in "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania".

The audience had loved their chemistry. Both the actors had made their Bollywood debut in 2012 Indian romantic drama film 'Student of the Year'.

Principal photography for the film began in May 2016, and the film is currently slated to release next year.

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the movie stars Varun Dhawan,Alia Bhatt and Gauahar Khan in lead roles.
