Trailer of film 'Alif' released

Mumbai, Jan 11 (IBNS): Trailer of film 'Alif - Ladna nahi padhna zaroori hai' was launched on Wednesday in the presence of Manoj Bajpayee, Neelima Azeem, Bhavna Pani, child artist - Mohammad Saud and Ishaan Kaurav and director Zaigham Imam.

The film is produced by Pawan Tiwari and Zaigham Imam and has been narrated by Jaya Bachchan.

The film is slated to release on Feb 3.

Talking about the director Zaigham Imam, Neelima Azeem said that,"This issue is socially and politically very sensitive and he has written it very well with honesty, loyalty and with love he has created his characters." 

Alif is a movie about a father, his son and his ambition to make him a doctor. His fight with the orthodox seminary education and his fellow neighbors. The film also stars Danish Hussain, Simala Prasad, Pawan Tiwari, Aditya Om.

Alif was world premiered in Australia’s famous Indian International film festival of Queensland in November and it has been screened in many well-known universities of  India.

Recently, the film was showcased in Aligarh Muslim University where it has been greatly applauded.

The film won Best Screenplay and Best child artist award in Bioscope Global film festival.
