Sanjay Leela Bhansali won't do anything to hurt anyones feelings: Ranveer Singh
A group o people attacked Bhansali in Rajasthan and the disrupted the shooting of his upcoming movie 'Padmavati' in the state on Friday.
Ranver, who is a part of the movie, tweeted: "As a team, we are making 'Padmavati' keeping in mind the sensitivities and emotions of the people of Rajasthan and the Rajput community."
He said: "Sanjay Sir is one of the most accomplished & authentic filmmakers we have in India, & he wont ever do anything to hurt anyones feelings."
The actor said: "Whats happened is very unfortunate. We hope the people of Rajasthan will understand & empathise with our intentions & give us their support."
The attack was reportedly carried out by a group who called themselves the Rajput Karni Sena.
Padmavati is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language period drama film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, jointly produced by Bhansali and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.
The film features Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in leading roles.
