Varun Dhawan turns 30, B-town wishes him

Mumbai, Apr 24 (IBNS): Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, who has been putting up strong performance in numerous Hindi movies in recent times, turned 30 on Monday.

Varun is the son of popular Bollywood filmmaker David Dhawan.

Meanwhile, Bollywood celebrities wished the actor on the special day of the year.

Filmmaker Karan Johar tweeted:"Happy birthday @Varun_dvn .... big love to you and bless you always!!! Have a super year....."

He also posted a picture of himself with the birthday boy.

Actress Huma Qureshi wished Varun and said, "Happy burdayyyyy @Varun_dvn Stay happy stay cray cray love you loads rockstar #throwbackpicture #blessedboy."

Singer King Mika Singh posted: "Happy birthday to the most humble and cute brother @Varun_dvn .. chakde fatte :)."

Actress Sophie Choudry wished the actor and remarked:"Happy bday my dearest @Varun_dvn ..May u always stay the way u are..Full of life, love, energy & insane talent! Big love."

Varun worked as an assistant director to Karan Johar on the 2010 drama My Name Is Khan.

Dhawan made his acting debut with Johar's 2012 romantic comedy Student of the Year, for which he received a Filmfare nomination for Best Male Debut.

Dhawan established himself in Bollywood by starring in the romance Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014) and the dance film ABCD 2 (2015).

Dhawan subsequently starred in the action drama Dilwale (2015), the crime drama Dishoom (2016), and the romantic comedy Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017).
