Justin Bieber to appear on Karan Johar’s popular TV show Koffee With Karan?
Bieber, who will be flying into Mumbai for the JIO Justin Bieber Purpose Tour post his Dubai show, will perform on May 10 at DY Patil Stadium.
Justin Bieber who is known to make regular and exclusive appearances on Emmy winning Ellen Lee DeGeneres’s talk show may be making a guest appearance on national award winning Karan Johar’s highest ranking chat show in the country. Johar has interviewed practically every A Lister in the entertainment fraternity beginning from Shahrukh Khan to Amitabh Bachchan to Deepika Padukone to Priyanka Chopra and the list is endless.
The Ellen DeGeneres Show is an hour-long, five-days-a-week, talk-variety show. Koffee with Karan has completed 105 episodes and 5 seasons over 12 years and will be celebrating season 6 unveiling with Justin Bieber if everything goes as planned.
Sources privy to the discussion state, “This will be the first time an international celebrity of Bieber’s calibre will be featuring in an Indian chat show format. Karan Johar is known as the Ellen of India to be very precise and has conducted interactive chat show dialogues with international celebrities of likes of Richard Gere, Maria Sharapova, Hugh Jackman and Christian Loubuton apart from working closely with Meryl Streep, Robert De Niro, George Clooney at world forum panels. He will definitely to do full justice to this 1-on1 exchange if Bieber actually does decide to reserve a time slot for it in his busy schedule. Infact a legend like Chris Martin who was in India recently for Global Citizen loved Channa Mereya from Ae Dil Ha Mushkil and he sung the song on stage and dedicated it to KJo.”
