Mumbai, May 19 (IBNS): After a gap of three decades, Bollywood bigwigs Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor have teamed up for feature film.

Titled 102 Not Out, the movie is based on the namesake Gujarati play by Saumya Joshi.

Though Bachchan and Kapoor has an age difference of 10 years, the duo will seen portraying a father-son relationship in the movie.

While Bachchan will play the role of a 102-year-old father, Kapoor will play his 75-year-old son.

Both Bachchan and Kapoor are no strangers to playing overly aged characters, with Kapoor hitting a chord with the audience with his portrayal of a 90-year-old fun-loving grandfather in Kapoor and Sons.

The movie, whose principal photography is set to begin in Mumbai, is directed by Umesh Shukla.

Kapoor, who worked with Bachchan in films like Amar Akbar Anthony and Naseeb, said he connected instantly while working with him after 26 years.

"Wonderful to work again with the Legendary Amitabh Bachchan. Thank you Amitji, it never felt the 26 years old hiatus. We connected instantly!" Kapoor tweeted.

Posting a still from the movie, film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor reunite after almost 3 decades for director Umesh Shukla's #102NotOut... Filming commences in Mumbai."
