No disrespectful word used to sell Jab Harry Met Sejal: Shah Rukh Khan
Khan was speaking on the day of Eid at his own residence.
CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani objected to the word 'intercourse' in the upcoming film Jab Harry Met Sejal, which features Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma in lead roles.
The CBFC did not permit the particular word which was seen in the second mini trailer of the film.
In the second mini trailer of the film, actress Anushka was seen to tell her co-star that he would be absolved from any legal cases if both get engaged to intercourse.

Interacting with the media, Khan said: "Neither me nor anyone associated with the film have used any disrespectful word towards the people to sell the film."
The actor even expressed his hope that the CBFC chief might clear the film once he watches it and understand the context in which the word has been used.
"It is just the trailers being released. May be out of context he is not finding the word suitable. But when he will watch the entire film (during censoring), probably he will understand the context. Hope everything will be good" he added.
Khan even clarified that the word will be changed if at all required, after the film goes for the censor.
Jab Harry Met Sejal released its three mini trailers so far. Shah Rukh Khan himself shared the trailers on Twitter.
On last Thursday, the third mini trailer of the film was released along with a song 'Radha'.

The controversy regarding the word has reached a new height when the CBFC chief told Mirror Now correspondent couple of days back, that he will clear the word 'intercourse' in the film, if one lakh people votes against the objection made by the censor board.
In a lighter mood, Khan said: "I am not yet 18, so can't vote."
The actor, who completed 25 years in the Indian film industry in 2017, said several small trailers and songs of Jab Harry Met Sejal will keep on releasing at a span of seven to ten days.
The Imtiaz Ali directed film is slated to release on Aug 4.
Jab Harry Met Sejal is considered as one of the major releases of the year.
