Mumbai, Dec 6 (IBNS): Veteran actor Shakti Kapoor is currently on cloud nine as he has signed few back to back films.

Shakti Kapoor will be seen in Ramesh Sippy’s comeback directorial venture ‘Shimla Mirchi’ and the cherry on the cake is that Shakti has recently signed the third installment of an adult comedy film ‘Kya Kool Hai Hum’.

Reportedly, for Shakti this will be like a comeback venture in a full - fledged comedy role and also he is excited for the same.

According to the sources, when the makers approached him for the role, Shakti readily agreed to it as he was waiting for a long time to take a comedy venture which will challenge him.

Shakti will be seen in his most ‘Tharki’ avatar which audience has never seen before. Shakti is playing the role of Tusshar Kapoor’s father.

Commenting on this Shakti said, "Yes I am doing the film. When the makers approached me for the film there was no reason for rejection. It will be the most tharkiest character I have ever played in any film. I am playing Tharki father of Tusshar in the film. The character is been married twice and one of his wife is young one, who is not under his control."

Apart from Shakti and Tusshar, the film also stars Krishna Abhishek, Aftab Shivdasani in the lead role.

The film will be directed by Umesh Ghadge who was David Dhawan’s chief assistant director and the film is produced by Balaji.
