Fans had been eagerly waiting for the couple to tie the knot especially since the time media channels have been super active with speculations of their marriage.
The rumour of Anushka Sharma's marriage with Virat Kohli had gathered further steam after the Bollywood actor left Mumbai along with her family on Thursday night.
Anushka and her family members had earlier refused to comment on the marriage when asked by media.
The rumour of Virat-Anushka's marriage broke on Wednesday after some local media channels and later national media stated that the couple will get married in the second week of December in Italy.

Both the Indian icons were often seen to tour and spend holidays on foreign soil.
One of the greatest revelations about the relationship was Virat's attribute to his mother along with Anushka on women's day this year on social media.
