Sussanne Khan leaves heart warming message for Hrithik Roshan on birthday
Mumbai, Jan 10 (IBNS): Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan turned 44 on Wednesday and his ex-wife Sussanne Khan left a heart-warming message for the actor on social media.
Sussanne, divorced wife of Hrithik, shared one of their images on Instagram with a caption that reads: " Forever and always you stay the sunshine in my life.. Happy happiest birthday 🖤 🎂 🌈🧚ðŸ»â™‚ï¸ðŸŒŸsmile that smile brightest and u always will spread that light...limitless 😇 #sacredheart."
Though Hrithik and Sussanne have broken their marital ties in 2014 legally, the two continue to share a close bond still. Both were seen to spend vacations abroad multiple times along with their children.
Hrithik has started his Bollywood career with 'Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai', a film which was directed by his father Rakesh Roshan, in 2000.
With the success of 'Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai', Hrithik soon turned out to be a youth sensation of Bollywood. But the journey was not all smooth for the actor after his first success in the industry. Though he caught the limelight very quickly but failed to earn commercial successes in his consecutive films.
The lustre was returned with 'Koi... Mil Gaya' in 2003 where Hrithik's acting skills were highly praised by the critics.
Hrithik is credited for his films like 'Dhoom 2', 'Jodhaa Akbar', 'Guzaarish', 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara', 'Krrish', 'Krrish 3'.
The actor's performance was widely appreciated in one of his recent films 'Kaabil' where he played the role of a blind man.
Apart from the acting career, Hrithik faced challenges and tough times in his personal life as well.
Post divorce with Sussanne, Hrithik got himself marred into a controversy with Bollywood's lead actor Kangana Ranaut over an alleged-relationship with the actor.
The tussle even spilled into the media after Kangana broke her silence in an interview to a news channel to be later countered by Hrithik in another media house.
However Sussane maintained a distance from the entire matter.
