Mumbai, Mar 6 (IBNS): Ever since actor Irrfan Khan said he is suffering from a 'rare disease', several Bollywood celebrities wished him speedy recovery.

Actor Abhishek Bachchan tweeted :" God speed."

Actor Suniel Shetty posted: " No matter what, I am sure you will emerge as a hero out of this too @irrfank All our prayers with you. Get well soon."

Irrfan, however, asked people not to speculate over the disease.

"Sometimes you wake up with a jolt with life shaking you up. The last 15 days, my life has been a suspense story," the Piku star wrote in a statement posted on Twitter.

"Little had I known that my search for rare stories would make me find a rare disease," he said.

"I have never given up and have always fought for my choices and always will. My family and friends are with me and we are working it out the best way possible. In trying times, please don't speculate as I will myself share with you my story within a week - 10 days, when further investigations come with a conclusive diagnosis. Till then, wish the best for me," he added.

Irrfan has worked in Bollywood as well as international movies.

He entertained fans with his performance in movies like Piku,Haider, Paan Singh Tomar,  Jurassic World and Inferno.
