Priyanka Chopra returns to Bollywood with Bharat

Mumbai, Apr 17 (IBNS): After her long absence, Priyanka Chopra will be seen in Bollywood movie Bharat.

The movie will also feature Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.

The movie is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.

Sharing the information, film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: "It's OFFICIAL... Priyanka Chopra joins the cast of #Bharat... Stars Salman Khan... #TigerZindaHai director Ali Abbas Zafar directs... Produced by Atul Agnihotri and Bhushan Kumar... #Eid2019 release."

The movie will release during Eid 2019.

Priyanka, who is busy with her international projects, has been absent from Bollywood movies for several years now.

She gained international fame with her appearance in US TV series Quantico.

The third season of the series will soon debut on TV.

Priyanka made her Hollywood debut with Baywatch last year.

She will soon be seen in her next Hollywood movie A Kid Like Jake.

The trailer of the movie was released recently.

A Kid Like Jake is a 2018 American drama film directed by Silas Howard and written by Daniel Pearle, based on his own 2013 play of the same name.

The film stars Claire Danes, Jim Parsons, Octavia Spencer and Priyanka Chopra.

It had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on Jan 23.
