Sonam-Anand opt for coordinated look at their wedding reception
Mumbai, May 8 (IBNS): After wrapping up their marriage rituals in a traditional Sikh ceremony on Tuesday morning, actress Sonam Kapoor and his businessman husband Anand Ahuja looked drop dead gorgeous at their wedding reception.
The couple hosted a grand reception for their colleagues and friends from the film industry at Mumbai's Leela hotel on Tuesday night.
The bride and groom went for a coordinated look. While Sonam wore a chevron lehenga in dark grey, white and gold by Anamika Khanna, Anand could be seen in a black sherwani and sneakers from his brand called VegNonVeg.
The guest list for the gala evening included actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha and his wife Poonam, Kangana Ranaut, Rani Mukerji, Rekha, Rishi and Neetu Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira, Swara Bhasker, Tina Ambani and politician Praful Patel among others.
Sonam tied the nuptial knot with her long-time beau Anand Ahuja in a traditional Sikh ceremony on Tuesday.
The two have been dating for a long time.
B-Town's who's who attended the Anand Karaj on Tuesday morning.
The list included Karan Johar, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, and Rani Mukerji among others.
Sonam's mehendi ceremony was also attended by several of her family members and friends from the Hindi film industry on Sunday.
From Aamir Khan to Rani Mukerji to Varun Dhawan, the ceremony was attended by several stars.
The marriage ceremony remained a completely private affair.
Following her marriage, the B-town actress changed the name of her Instagram profile. She has added the last name of her husband.
Her Instagram page now reads: "sonamkapoorahuja".
Her strong 12.4 million followers now know that Sonam is now Mrs. Sonam Kapoor Ahuja.
