Mumbai, June 12 (IBNS): Chitrangda Singh, who has a vast repertoire of work to her credit, has added another feather to her cap by turning producer for the upcoming film, Soorma.

She has joined hands with Sneha Rajani, Head, Sony Motion Pictures.

Looking at the spate of films released recently, one can safely say that women have carved a strong niche for themselves. Whether it was the Meghna Gulzar directed Raazi or an ensemble of woman actors in Veere Di Wedding, the female force is here to stay! Soorma is no different for it brings together two powerhouse women in Chitrangda Singh and Sneha Rajani to produce a film that is sure to leave a strong impact on India as a whole!

Commenting on the same, Chitrangda Singh said, “It is great to see so many women converging together to provide content that leaves a lasting impact on the audience. I am delighted to partner with Sneha who is such a strong force to reckon with herself and produce a path-breaking film like Soorma”.

Starring Diljit Dosanjh and based on the life and times of hockey player, Sandeep Singh, Soorma details the story of this legendary hockey player who fought against all odds and got back to International hockey in 2008.

Chitrangda will be next seen in Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3 and Bazaar.
