With Rs 21 crore on third weekend, Sanju crosses Rs 300 crore at box-office

Mumbai, July 16 (IBNS): Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju has breached the Rs 300 crore-mark at the box-office, during its third weekend.

The movie took 16 days to go past the mark.

As of Sunday, Sanju, which a biopic of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, has grossed Rs 316.64 crore.

Actor Ranbir Kapoor has essayed Sanjay's character in the film.

Film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#Sanju biz at a glance...

Week 1: ₹ 202.51 cr Week 2: ₹ 92.67 cr Weekend 3: ₹ 21.46 cr Total: ₹ 316.64 cr India biz. ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER."

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film also stars Paresh Rawal, Dia Mirza, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and others in pivotal roles.

The film has hit the big screens on Jun 29.
