Bharat director hints at Priyanka Chopra's engagement with Nick Jonas?
Mumbai, July 27 (IBNS): Ali Abbas Zafar, the director of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's upcoming Hindi film Bharat, has given wings to the rumours of a possible engagement of actress Priyanka Chopra with American singer Nick Jonas.
In a tweet, Zafar informed that Priyanka, who was earlier the lead character in Bharat, has opted out of the film.
But the new story unfolds when the Bharat director refers to word "Nick" in the tweet, leaving it to the public to speculate about an engagement of the Quantico star.
The exact tweet reads, "Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of @Bharat_TheFilm & and the reason is very very special , she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her ... Team Bharat wishes @priyankachopra loads of love & happiness for life"
Of late, Priyanka has been in the news for her rumoured relationship with Nick.
The two were spotted on various occasions and also dining at a restaurant in Mumbai.
The rumoured couple went for a vacation in Goa as well.
Priyanka, who made her Hollywood debut with Baywatch, was earlier spotted in the wedding of Nick’s cousin in New Jersey.
The desi girl was also seen at the Beauty and the Beast Live in Concert at the Hollywood Bowl with Jonas, where, in one of the photos, the singer opened the door for his rumoured ‘lady love’ to come out.
Priyanka had however dismissed reports of having any romantic interest in Nick after the duo were said to have met in Met Gala 2017.
