Los Angeles, Apr 26 (IBNS): Actor Rami Malek has joined the cast for the next Hollywood movie on James Bond.

The title of the movie has not been unveiled so far.

Daniel Craig will once again play the character of Bond in the movie.

The cast and creative team have been unveiled at a launch event in Jamaica, with Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge confirmed as one of the writers, reported BBC.

The movie is expected to release next April.

Daniel will play the character of Bond for the last time.

Malek, who is known for his strong performance in several movies, won an Oscar for playing singer Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody.

Malek will be playing the character if a villain in the movie.

He confirmed the issue by sharing a video on the official James Bond Twitter page.

Meanwhile, Craig told BBC News: "Bond has always adapted for the times. But you're dealing with a character who is flawed, who has issues, and I think that's something that's worth still exploring and grappling with.

"Of course, we wouldn't be movie-makers or creative people if we didn't have an eye on what was going on in the outside world."
