Los Angeles/IBNS: Makers of the upcoming James Bond movie have scrapped their publicity tour to China amid coronavirus outbreak in the country which has claimed nearly 1700 lives so far.

No Time to Die will feature actor Daniel Craig as James Bond for the last time.

The makers of the latest James Bond blockbuster have been forced to postpone a lucrative publicity tour in China as cinemas in the country remain shut in efforts to contain the coronavirus, reported The Times.

Following the outbreak of the coronavirus, 70,000 cinema screens are currently closed across China.

The movie is due to release in the UK on Apr 3.

Daniel Craig and the cast will not attend the Beijing screening or the subsequent publicity tour of China, which have been halted because of uncertainty surrounding the evolution of the epidemic, reported Deadline.

This movie is the twenty-fifth instalment in the James Bond film series.

The film is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga.

No Time to Die will have its world premiere at the Royal Albert Hall in London on 31 March 2020, followed by its theatrical release globally from 2 April 2020 in the United Kingdom and on 10 April 2020 in the United States.
