Los Angeles: Makers have revealed the second trailer of Wonder Woman 1984 as actress Gal Gadot said the team is dedicated to bring yet another 'amazing chapter' in the superwoman saga.

"A new era of Wonder Woman begins here. We’ve been so dedicated to bringing you another amazing chapter of Wonder Woman’s story. It’s bigger, grander, with every detail perfected," Gal Gadot posted on Instagram.

She further said: "We busted our butts off for this film and we want to thank you, the fans, for your patience. And we can’t wait to share it all with you in theaters. Until then, enjoy the second trailer."

In this new trailer, Gal Gadot could be seen fighting villains Pedro Pascal’s Max Lord and Kristen Wiig’s Cheetah.

It is the sequel to 2017's Wonder Woman and the ninth installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU).

The film is directed by Patty Jenkins from a script she wrote with Geoff Johns and David Callaham, and a story by Johns and Jenkins.

It will star Gal Gadot as Diana Prince / Wonder Woman, alongside Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Robin Wright, and Connie Nielsen in supporting roles.

Wonder Woman 1984 is scheduled to be released in the United States by Warner Bros. Pictures in RealD 3D, Dolby Cinema, IMAX, and IMAX 3D on  Oct 2.
