Tom Cruise jumps out of plane, watch video to know details

Los Angeles: Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise jumped out of a plane to thank his fans for loving his last released movie  “Top Gun: Maverick”.

In the high-octane act, Tom Cruise could be seen  hurtling through the troposphere.

A little over 20 seconds in, the camera pans to reveal Christopher McQuarrie, who returns to the “Mission: Impossible” series to helm “Dead Reckoning.” McQuarrie also wrote “Top Gun: Maverick” and produced the action feature, alongside Cruise and David Ellison, reports Variety magazine.

Cruise grins, nonchalantly points a finger gun at McQuarrie before promptly jumping out of the aircraft — alongside a cameraman, presumably, the magazine reported.

Top Gun: Maverick is a 2022 American action drama film directed by Joseph Kosinski and written by Ehren Kruger, Eric Warren Singer, and Christopher McQuarrie from a story by Peter Craig and Justin Marks.

The film is a sequel to the 1986 film Top Gun.

The movie remained one of the  highest grossing films of the year.

The movie has earned USD 718 million at the domestic box office and USD 1.4 billion worldwide.
