Jonas reportedly spotted an audience member aiming a laser at him.
According to Variety, footage of the incident first emerged on social media, where Nick Jonas can be seen dashing off stage mid-concert while making a “time out” sign with his hands. A representative for the O2 Arena in Prague, where the concert was held, confirmed to Variety that the show was halted for several minutes afterwards.
“We can confirm that the Jonas Brothers’ performance had to be interrupted for several minutes due to the use of a prohibited laser pointer by the person,” the O2 Arena Praha spokesperson said, quoted Variety. “The organizing service responded to this fact. After a few minutes, the band continued their performance.”
Nick Jonas, who is married to Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, is the youngest member of the band alongside brothers Joe and Kevin.
The American singer, songwriter and actor who released his debut single in 2002 first caught the attention of Columbia Records, where he formed a band with his older brothers, Kevin and Joe, known as the Jonas Brothers.
