Los Angeles, Sept 2 (IBNS): Upcoming action thriller 'Transporter Refueled' will see Ed Skrein perform some high-octane car stunt sequences in the flick and we have learned that the stunt drivers in the film had to actually take out bits from the car that Skrein drives in the film, to make it less safe!

Elaborating on the same, Skrein, who plays mercenary Frank Martin, said, “It’s a very beautiful car and a joy to drive. The only problem was that the Audi has such an intelligent computer in the engine that it won’t skid or do anything other than be completely safe. The stunt drivers had to take bits out of the Audi in order to make things happen the way they wanted.”

Director Camille Delamarre, who had tied up with Audi for the film, said, “I admit that I have a weakness for cars. Skrein became very fond of the Audi S8 2012 sedan that was his near-constant companion during filming.”

The Transporter: Refueled’ stars Ed Skrein, Ray Stevenson, Gabriella Wright, Radivoje Bukvic, Anatole Taubman and Tatiana Pajkovic. To be released by Relativity-B4U, this action extravaganza, which will be out in four languages viz. English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, is slated to hit screens on September 4.
