Ben Affleck to adapt Agatha Christie thriller for silver screen?
He might soon be featuring in "The Witness For The Prosecution".
"The Witness for the Prosecution" is a short story and play by Agatha Christie.
It had first hit the big screen in 1957.
"2oth Century Fox is closing on a deal that will have Ben Affleck directing and starring in Witness For The Prosecution, an adaptation of the Agatha Christie short story and play that first hit the big screen in 1957," reported Deadline.
Ben Affleck last directed movie which hit the silver screen was Argo (2012).
Affleck won theGolden Globe and BAFTA Award for Best Director, and the Golden Globe, BAFTA and Academy Award for Best Picture.
Affleck portrayed the superhero Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice andSuicide Squad (both 2016).
The gangster drama Live by Night, which Affleck directed, wrote and acted in, will be released in early 2017.
