Mumbai, May 8 (IBNS): With two days to go for the highly anticipated JIO Justin Bieber Purpose World Tour by White Fox India, we got our hands on the special indigenous souvenir that the pop legend will be receiving the day he sets foot in Mumbai.

Rohit Bal, Varun Bahl, Anamika Khanna, Krishna Mehta, Amit Aggarwal, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Manav Gangwani and Ustad Amjad Ali Khan have all come together under one roof to contribute to the beautiful memento for the Sorry hitmaker as a warm gesture.

Varun Bahl has personally curated and embellished traditional Indian instruments of symphony as a gesture of inter-cultural synergy and India’s hospitality.

The creation is a reflection of elegance, harmony, avant grade yet rooted in Indian classic.

The instruments have been ornated with fine silk printed with dainty floral artworks and highlighted with metallic golds.

Delicate beaded tassels have been used for detailing.

Varun Bahl states, “Music is the soul of communication which knows no boundaries. The sitar and tabla reflect the core of Indian traditional music, embracing the dynamic culture we hail from.  Adorned in Varun Bahl’s signature floral motifs and intricate embroideries, the instrument when presented to Justin Bieber, one of the biggest music icons of today’s world, symbolises the inter culture amalgamation of our cosmos.”

Rohit Bal will be creating a biker jacket in cotton velvet for Justin Bieber. Keeping in sync with Bieber’s universal appeal, black will depict the mood board. The entire outfit will be handcrafted and hand embroidered with sequins and crystals from swarovski.

Rohit Bal states, “The jacket is an amalgamation of Justin’s personal style, Indian music and my vision of a cross cultural fashion statement.  I have tried to inculcate elements from the rich music lineage of our country in the form of beautiful classical string instruments like the Sitar, Sarangi and Veena.  These are finely embroidered and handcrafted with over 10,000 crystals from Swarovski on luxurious velvet.  Blending in with the instruments are my signature Indian lotus motifs.  The concept behind the jacket is to create a versatile look that is suitable for an event or performance with a hint of understated opulence and a sense of Indian tradition.”

Anamika Khanna will be creating a wardrobe for Justin Bieber’s mother.

The subtle yet stunning piece created is a long floor length jacket that utilizes embroidery inspired by tribal India .this is a timeless and versatile piece and can be layered in many ways.

This is not part of a collection we call "modern tribe".

The base material used is a silk chanderi and the embellishment is thread work.

Khanna says, “It is indeed an honour to be creating an outfit for Justin’s mom and to be able to showcase the indigenous craft we have here, though modern enough to be worn anywhere in the world. The idea was to give her a flavour of our craft, yet not overwhelm her with the silhouette.”

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni will be gifting a bespoke wreath shaped necklace embellished in ornate rubies and marquise diamonds encrusted in platinum and 18k gold to Bieber’s mother.

The sparkling red of spring and the balefire of hope represents a life full of passion and love and is defined by supreme craftsmanship and resplendent finesse.

Speaking about her creation, Riddhima says, “In the 1880’s, French jewelers called the ruby the gem of gems. Philosophies say red is the colour of the heart. We have drawn inspiration from the ruby’s fiery nature to create a collection that champions passion and success. Bieber is a youth icon who everyone loves but the pillar of strength in his life has been his mother and it’s a tribute to this brilliant woman.”

Amit Aggarwal is creating a jacket with Khadi with metallic hints with malleable recycled polymer sheet used on the sleeves fusing traditional weaves with industrial waste. Adroitly fashioning commonplace elements into bewitching tours de force, upcycling is more than just a catchphrase for this designer.

Aggarwal states, "I am aim at applying heritage textiles along with sustainable materials that morph the traditional idea of beauty with a progressive aesthetic. This is a marriage between vintage and modern, the charm of the old and the new world.”

Krishna Mehta, who has created an Indo Western formal shirt with modern, geometric lines with metallic threads, says, “We have taken a step back from our typically bright colour palette in this particular piece. We wanted to achieve a fierce look, much like the super star himself, and his work - An homage to the singer's character and stage persona. However, his incredibly effervescent personality demands a pop of eccentricity; we therefore created a versatile indo-western look that is just the right amount of edgy, and just the right amount of ethnic.”

The master couturier, Manav Gangwani has created special sneakers & caps for the 23 year old pop artist keeping his age and image in mind. The merchandise was conceptualised to reflect what most foreigners know India for - peacock feathers & snake charmers.

Manav Gangwani says, "I hope the teen heartthrob enjoys a little touch of India. Most foreign artists love peacock feathers and snake symbols in their outfits when they come to India and hence I created this on the accessories."

As a goodwill gesture Sarod virtuoso and classical music legend, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan will also be gifting an autographed sarod to the Grammy winner.

The promoters have given a chance to young blood - Prasenjit Das who will creating hand painted denim jacket with graffiti designs and Dhruv Kapoor who will be creating an oversized hoodie and Ragini Ahuja who will be creating a bomber jacket in destroyed denim with sheep leather shoulder, collar and pocket flaps and witty-tone graphic tee shirt by Balmedor
