Los Angeles, July 15 (IBNS): Actress Lynda Carter, who was known for playing Wonder Woman in the 1970's show, has confirmed she is in talks with the makers to star in the sequel to the 2017 movie on the action heroine.

Actress Gal Gadot gained immense appreciation by playing the character in the 2017 movie Wonder Woman.

“We were trying to get me in the first one and we couldn’t make it work with our timing,” Carter, 65, told PEOPLE.

The 2017 action movie is directed by filmmaker  Patty Jenkins.

“It really is up to Patty, and if it works in an organic way it’ll be great fun and it’ll be wonderful to do,” Carter told the magazine.

She said: "Am I open to it? Absolutely. I adore Patty Jenkins, and it’ll be wonderful to do. But we’ll just see how that goes.”
