Hollywood movie It setting India Box Office on fire, beats Poster Boys

Mumbai/Los Angeles, Sept 13 (IBNS): Hollywood movie It is making significant progress at the Box Office in India.

The movie has earned Rs. Rs 10 crores at the Indian Box Office till Tuesday.

"#IT Fri 1.67 cr, Sat 2.82 cr, Sun 3.03 cr, Mon 1.27 cr, Tue 1.28 cr. Total: ₹ 10.07 cr Nett. India biz... All versions," film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted.

The movie was released in India on Friday.

The American horror film is based on Stephen King's 1986 novel of the same name.

Produced by New Line Cinema, KatzSmith Productions, Lin Pictures and Vertigo Entertainment,and distributed by Warner Bros., it is intended to be the first installment in a planned duology.

The film is directed by Andrés Muschietti and written by Chase Palmer, Cary Fukunaga and Gary Dauberman.

It has made far better result than Sunny Deol's Bollywood movie Poster Boys which was also released on Friday.

Sunny Deol's movie has earned Rs. 9 crores so far.
