Rajinikanth describes Kantara as a 'masterpiece' of Indian cinema

Chennai: Rajinikanth, Southern acting sensation, on Wednesday praised Kannada movie Kantara and called it a 'masterpiece'.

"'The unknown is more than the known' no one could have said this better in cinema than @hombalefilms#KantaraMovie you gave me goosebumps

@shetty_rishabRishab hats off to you as a writer,director and actor.Congrats to the whole cast and crew of this masterpiece in indian cinema," he tweeted praising the movie.

Kantara has received praises across the world since it hit the silver screen.

It is currently the highest rated Indian movie on IMDB.

Kantara is a 2022 Indian Kannada-language action thriller film written and directed by Rishab Shetty, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, under Hombale Films.

The film stars Shetty as a Kambala champion who is at loggerheads with an upright DRFO officer, Murali (played by Kishore).

Achyuth Kumar and Sapthami Gowda feature in supporting roles.
