Jnanada Kakati's documentary 'Reflections of Light and Shade' wins 'Best Short Documentary Award 'at Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival 2023

Guwahati/IBNS: Jnanada Kakati, a veteran actress, was honored with the "Best Short Documentary Award" for the film "Jnanada: Reflections of Light and Shade" at the 13th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival 2023, held in Noida on April 30.

Bobbeeta Sharma directed the award-winning documentary "Jnanada: Reflections of Light and Shade", which was previously recognized with a Special Jury Mention Award for a short documentary at the 15th Jaipur International Film Festival earlier this year, reported Guwahati Plus.

The critically acclaimed documentary "Jnanada: Reflections of Light and Shade" not only received the Special Jury Mention Award at the Jaipur International Film Festival and the Best Short Documentary Award at the Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival 2023.

It also earned the Special Jury Award for the Best Film on Women at the Indian Independent Film Festival.

The documentary has been selected to be screened at the Liber Films International Festival 2023 in Greece and the WRPN Women's International Film Festival 2023 in Delaware, United States.
