Rajinikanth's 'Vettaiyan' will release in October, announces makers

Southern superstar Rajinikanth fans can save their dates as the makers of his upcoming movie 'Vettaiyan' said the film will hit the silverscreen in October,

Lyca Productions, which will be distributing 'Vettaiyan', also shared a new poster of the movie.

"Kuri vechachu. VETTAIYAN is all set to take charge in cinemas this OCTOBER Get ready to chase down the prey! ," the production house posted on X.

Written and directed by T. J. Gnanavel, the film is produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under Lyca Productions.

The film stars Rajinikanth, leading an ensemble cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan and Fahadh Faasil.

The film was officially announced in March 2023 under the tentative title Thalaivar 170, being the 170th film of Rajinikanth as the lead actor, and the official title was announced in December 2023.
