Panaji, Nov 23 (IBNS): Written and directed by Gulzar 'Libas' was screened on Saturday evening at 45th IFFI after 26 years of its making.
Accompanied by daughter Meghna and filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj, Rekha Bhardwaj, he himself watched the opening film of his retro and interacted with audience after the premier.

The special retrospective honours the recipient of this year’s Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the noted poet, lyricist and film-maker, Gulzar.

The package includes eight films, from his debut Mere Apne to his most successful film, Maachis, covering close to two decades, and celebrates the work of one of the pioneers of the middle-of-the road cinema of the 1970s and one of its most beloved stalwarts.

Gulzar’s other films being screened at 45th IFFI are Aandhi, Angoor, Ijaazat, Koshish, Lekin, Maachis and Mere Apne.
