Kolkata, Mar 6 (IBNS): Tollywood actors Soham Chakraborty and Srabanti Chatterjee recently launched the trailer of director Abhimanyu Mukherjee’s upcoming Bengali film Googly here.

The film stars Chakraborty and Chatterjee in the lead roles.

“Googly is about a married couple suffering from stammering and are later confused about having a child who might inherit their speaking disorder,” said Chakraborty while speaking about the film.

He added, “The center of attraction of the movie is the fluidity in which my character is portrayed, it doesn’t look forced and imposed at all. With ‘Googly’ we have taken a risk to give a new kind of Bengali film to the audience which is a very experimental project.”

Speaking about her role in the film, Chatterjee, who has been a part of a number of Bengali films, said, “I didn’t know if I could do justice to this role since it’s completely different from what I have done before. I feel like this is one of the toughest role in my career.”

The music of the film has been composed by Savy.

Produced by Surinder Films Pvt Ltd, Googly is slated to release on Mar 29.
