Kolkata, July 17 (IBNS): Bengali actor Swarup Dutta, who was known for his versatile acting, passed away in Kolkata on Wednesday, media reports said.
He was 78.
Dutta is best remembered for his performances in movies of 1960s and 70s, including in films of late Tapan Sinha.
He was reportedly suffering fro age-related problem.
He had worked in movies like Apanjan, Sagina Mahato, Harmonium, Pita Putra and Maa O Meye.
